FAQ

How do I get to the session?

I am based in Herne Hill, South London, SE24 which is readily accessible from both sides of the river and from outside London.

By train: I am 30 seconds from the Herne Hill overground station, which is just 8mins from Victoria on the Southeastern Trains Orpington route (four trains an hour) and only 10/12mins out of Wimbledon or Blackfriars on Thameslink/First Capital Connect (four trains an hour). If you come into London via Clapham Junction or Vauxhall there are also swift bus links to Herne Hill.

By bus: The 68 and 468 both come from the Strand, passing through Elephant & Castle, then along the Walworth Road and over Denmark Hill before arriving at Herne Hill. The 3 comes direct from Trafalgar Square to Herne Hill, calling in Oval and Brixton, while the 196 travels via Vauxhall. The 37 bus calls at Herne Hill in its journey between Putney, Clapham Junction and Peckham. You can catch it from East Dulwich (4 minutes) or Clapham Common (10 minutes)

By tube: the closest tube stop is Brixton on the Victoria Line, from where you can walk (15 minutes/1 mile), take the 196, 37 or 3 bus (4 minutes), or hop on the overground (2 minutes)

By car: there is unrestricted parking on a number of roads very close by, including Gubyon Avenue and Kestrel Avenue, SE24. It is normally quite easy to get a space during the day.
